Rhodesian Ridgeback show in Nizhny Novgorod

A RR Club show took place in the city of Nizhny Novgorod on the Volga (over 400 km. east from Moscow) on July 25.

Show rank: Club Winner (Best Male and Best Female are awarded with the title of Club Winner; adult class winners receive CCC – Candidate to Club Championship titles; Best Junior Male and Best Junior Female receive the titles of Junior Club Winners).

This open air show was organised in a large park called « Switzerland », a picturesque place in Nizhny Novgorod with a beautiful view on the Volga. This was the only RR Club show in 2009 taking place outside of Moscow or St-Petersburg. It gathered a number of Ridgebacks from Moscow, St-Petersburg, Tver’, Yaroslavl’ and of course from the host city, Nizhny Novgorod. The total of the RR registered to this show was 69; 65 attended.

We would like to express our sincere congratulations to those of the young generation of Tina Trading who made their successful debutes in Nizhny on July 25.

First of all, Tina Trading Osiris who was the Best Junior Male of this Club Winner Show, and received the title of Junior Club Winner.

Special praises go to our youngest yet plenipotentiary representatives: the babies Tina Trading Tesoro Theodore (15 weeks) and his littermate Tina Trading Tamerlan First, and Tina Trading Sarenta (18.5 weeks). This was the very first show for all three, and it took place very far from Moscow where they live! The travel went seamlessly for all, they did just great! So, congratulations and special thanks to the owners, Vika and Katya, who drove 800 km. to this show and back: their endurance and enthusiasm was truly rewarded by Sarenta’s and Teddy's successes! And of course, our warmest congratulations, for both his participation and of course for making this long way so well, to the little Marcus (Tina Trading Tamerlan First) who kindly allowed his littermate Teddy to become first in the Baby class this time, but we are sure Tamerlan has many victories to come! :-)

Our beautiful young lady Tina Trading Lucky Life got in the Best 4 selection in the tough competition among 7 females in the Junior class… yes, she did it again, despite her impressively rounded body. Here comes our strong warning to ALL owners: please be very attentive to the shape and weight of your dogs! We know you love them, just as we do: but please note that “round” and “overfed” does not AT ALL mean “beautiful” and “healthy”!

Too bad that Olga, the owner of Tina Trading Vero Gianni Schicchi, could not travel to this show after their return from the distant trip to the RR Club Championship in France. We regret that Schicchi did not participate in his traditional Working class now… However, Gianni Schicchi’s little sons Teddy and Marcus represented their father very well, and we hope that papà Gianni is proud of them!

Andrey, the owner of Tina Trading Patricia, becomes a more and more experienced handler. It’s so pleasant to see an owner as courageous as Andrey who continues to show Patricia himself, in the very competitive Russian shows where engaging a professional handler is considered to be a must!..

We welcome and congratulate Tina Trading Pilgrim Hacker and his owner Lyudmila, for the start of Pilgrim’s show career, and we wish them the best of success in the future!

Our congratulations go to Tina Trading Omar Hayam who won the Winners Class and received his new CCC, another step towards Russian RR Club Championship.

Tina Trading Julien (Nizhny Novgorod) did just great: he won the Intermediate class and got his first CCC. Right after him, went Tina Trading Egor Red – he was 2^nd in Intermediate, and received a CC (Certificate of Conformation). Good boys!

We were very pleased to see again the father of a very beautiful «bouquet» of girls, our R-litter, Tina Trading Sheriff who came to this show from Yaroslavl'.

And, the last but not the least… oh, not at all! Tina Trading Faraon – the winner of the most honourable class of every Club show, the RR Club Champions class, where he competed with 3 famous Club stars. Moreover, Tina Trading Faraon is the BEST MALE among 6 class winners and finally, the BEST OF BREED!

Thus, not only did Faraon receive his Club Winner titles as the Best Male of this show; this means that he is half-way through to his… 3^rd Club Championship!

The elegant black-mask Ashaki Ami follows her boyfriend Faraon in her successes: she won the Intermediate class and received her first CCC. Xenia and Alexandre, we wish you more and more victories for both your dogs, they make a great couple!
